Role: Material Planning/Supply Planning

- 4 to 8 years of experience in Material planning
- Contractual role for 10 months
- Shift : must be flexible for shifts(Day/Night)

Budget :

- Specialist – Planning (4 to 6 Years experience) : 7.8LPA to 9.1LPA(CTC)
- Subject Matter Expert – Planning (6 to 8 Years experience) : 11.6LPA to 13.6LPA(CTC)
- Job location is Pune

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Planning to join our team in Chennai on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in materials planning, supply chain planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning within a manufacturing or EMS setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end materials planning to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Ensure material availability and kit readiness for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and resolve material shortages by coordinating with procurement and sourcing teams.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives, including excess, obsolete, MRB, and slow-moving inventory management.
- Analyze customer forecasts and align supply plans with demand requirements.




- Manage work orders and production build plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support BOM and ECO change management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have) ✔ 5+ years of experience in Material Planning / Supply Planning / Production Planning

✔ Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and MPS (Master Production Scheduling)

✔ Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or BAAN ERP systems

✔ Experience working on Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar planning tools

✔ Expertise in Inventory Management & Inventory Optimization

✔ Experience in Demand Planning, Forecast Analysis, Forecast Normalization, and Supply Planning

✔ Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and ECO (Engineering Change Order) lifecycle management

✔ Experience managing Material Shortages, Work Orders, and Production Build Plans

✔ Manufacturing / EMS / Electronics industry experience preferred
