Marketing Coordinator – Lead Generation & Business Support

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and well-organized Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing and Business Development activities. The candidate will be responsible for cold calling, lead generation, customer follow-ups, preparing PPT presentations, maintaining lead databases, and coordinating marketing activities.

The ideal candidate should have positive communication skills, confidence in speaking with customers, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Cold Calling

- Conduct regular cold calls to prospective customers, industries, consultants, contractors and other business prospects.
- Identify and generate new business leads through calls, online research, LinkedIn, email and other channels.
- Understand customer requirements and record relevant enquiry details.
- Maintain and regularly update the Lead / Enquiry Database.
- Follow up with prospective customers and track lead status.
- Qualify leads and forward relevant opportunities to the Business Development team.

Marketing Support

- Support the Business Development team in daily marketing activities.
- Research potential industries, companies, projects and customer segments.
- Collect market and competitor information.
- Support digital and offline marketing activities.




- Assist in preparing marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors and service providers whenever required.

PPT & Documentation

- Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings, company introductions and project presentations.
- Prepare company profiles, product/service presentations and marketing documents.
- Maintain updated marketing materials, brochures, presentations and project references.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly marketing reports.

Customer & Internal Coordination

- Coordinate with customers for meetings, requirements and follow-ups.
- Schedule meetings and support the Business Development team.
- Coordinate with the Proposal, Design, Projects and Management teams for required information.
- Follow up internally for quotations, technical information and other customer requirements.
- Maintain proper records of customer communications and follow-ups.

Key Performance Areas (KPIs)
- Number of quality leads generated.
- Number of cold calls completed.
- Customer follow-up effectiveness.
- Qualified enquiries generated.
- Meeting appointments generated.
- Lead-to-enquiry conversion.
- Timely updating of CRM/lead database.




- Quality and accuracy of PPTs and marketing documents.
- Timely submission of marketing reports.

Required Skills
- Excellent English communication and telephone conversation skills.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong cold-calling and follow-up ability.
- Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations.
- Good internet research and lead-generation skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Experience 1–4 years of experience in Marketing Coordination, Telecalling, Lead Generation, Sales Coordination, Business Development Support or a similar role.

Freshers with excellent communication skills and confidence in cold calling may also be considered.

Preferred Industry Background

Experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Engineering, EPC, Industrial Projects, Engineering Products or Technical Sales will be an added advantage.

Qualification

Any Graduate / MBA – Marketing / Business Administration preferred.

Candidate Profile The candidate should be confident, target-oriented, organized and comfortable speaking with new customers over the phone. She should have the ability to manage multiple coordination activities and maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
