Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with experience in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in manual testing, requirements analysis, test case design, defect management, and end-to-end testing of Capital Markets applications.
Experience working in Agile teams and validating complex business workflows is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate business workflows, trade processing, and regulatory requirements.
- Execute backend/database validation using SQL.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality releases.
- Prepare test execution reports and provide release sign-off.
- Support production validation and defect analysis when required.
