We're looking for a Finance Manager who doesn't just maintain books and prepare reports, but can think and operate like the Financial Expert of a growing company.

The Role:

This is a high-ownership Finance Manager / Founders' Office role

. You will be responsible for building a finance function that gives the founders a clear view of where the business stands, where it is going, how much cash we have, how efficiently we are operating, and what needs to change.

You will work closely with the Founders, Business, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams and will be expected to challenge numbers, identify risks, and turn financial data into business decisions.

What You'll Own

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Build and maintain monthly/quarterly financial models.
- Track actuals vs budget and identify key deviations.
- Develop business projections, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Build unit economics and profitability models across products, customers, locations and business segments.
- Track contribution margin, gross margin, EBITDA and other key business metrics.

2. Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Own cash-flow planning and forecasting.
- Monitor receivables, payables and working capital.
- Improve cash conversion cycles.
- Build cash-flow models and ensure adequate liquidity planning.
- Identify cash leakages and opportunities to improve capital efficiency.
- Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain to optimise collections, vendor payments and inventory economics.

3. MIS & Management Reporting





- Build a robust monthly MIS/dashboard for founders and leadership.
- Create meaningful financial and operational KPIs.
- Develop dashboards covering revenue, margins, collections, payables, burn, runway, CAC, contribution margin and profitability.
- Move the organisation from "accounting reports" to "decision-making reports."

4. Fundraising & Investor Readiness

- Support the founders in preparing for Series A fundraising .

- Own financial data rooms and ensure financial information is investor-ready.
- Build and maintain investor-grade financial models.
- Prepare fundraising projections, business plans and financial narratives.
- Support investor due diligence.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, legal advisors and other external stakeholders during fundraising.
- Be able to confidently explain the company's numbers, assumptions, financial performance and projections.

5. Accounting, Controls & Compliance

- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and monthly/annual closing.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, expenses, provisions and reconciliations.
- Work with auditors, tax consultants and statutory advisors.
- Strengthen financial controls and approval mechanisms.
- Ensure timely statutory and tax compliances.
- Build scalable finance processes as the company grows.

Business

Finance & Strategic Finance

- Partner with founders and business teams on pricing, margins and profitability.
- Evaluate new cities, warehouses/dark stores, product categories and business opportunities from a financial perspective.
- Analyse make-vs-buy, vendor terms, credit terms and financing decisions.
- Evaluate business initiatives through ROI and payback analysis.




- Identify financial risks before they become business problems.

What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who is commercially sharp, financially rigorous and extremely comfortable with ambiguity.

Must Have:

- CA / CFA / CMA - qualified or semi-qualified.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, taxation and financial modelling.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Experience in FP&A;, business finance, corporate finance or startup finance.
- Strong understanding of cash flow and working capital.
- Ability to independently build financial models and management dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with founders and senior leadership.
