Overview

Role Overview: As part of the PGCS D&AI; organisation, the role leads the delivery of Business Intelligence and Reporting products, with Power BI as the primary platform. The role partners with business and other technical teams to shape reporting requirements, define scalable data and semantic solutions, manage demand intake, and ensure successful build, delivery and sustainment of reporting product.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Ingestion & Integration – Microsoft Fabric data ingestion and integration, including SAP BW/HANA and other enterprise data sources. • Data Transformation & Engineering – Developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, Dataflows and Notebooks to cleanse, transform and prepare data using a modern Medallion Architecture. • Data Modelling – Designing performant dimensional models and Star Schemas, including fact/dimension structures, relationships and business-ready semantic models. • Power BI Visualisation – Developing intuitive, business-focused Power BI reports and dashboards, translating wireframes into effective visualisations and user experiences.

Qualifications

Skills Required: • Strong Power BI delivery experience — report and dashboard development, DAX, semantic models,



performance optimisation and deployment practices.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric — ingestion and integration.• Experience integrating SAP BW/HANA and other enterprise data sources into analytics and reporting platforms.• ETL pipeline delivery on a Medallion Architecture, with an understanding of data quality, reconciliation and refresh management.• SQL for querying, validation and data analysis; familiarity with the Azure Data & Analytics stack including Data Lake, Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Synapse and Databricks.• Functional and technical data experience in Supply Chain and Commercial domains is preferred;

Experience Required

- Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data & Analytics or Data Product Management, including hands-on Power BI delivery.• Experience working with business and technology teams to deliver analytics and reporting solutions, in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
