Role: Machine Maintenance Engineer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: Ponneri, Tiruvallur

Working Hrs: 9:00 to 18:00

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance for:
- Mechanical Presses
- Hydraulic Presses
- Lathe Machines
- Milling & Drilling Machines
- Robotic Welding Machines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations by minimizing downtime.
- Conduct machine inspections, calibration, alignment, lubrication, and coolant management.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and breakdown analysis reports.
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and equipment safety standards.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
- Support the production team by ensuring machine reliability and performance.

Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical,



Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Machine Maintenance within a Metal Fabrication / Manufacturing environment.
- Electrical Knowledge Prefered
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read machine drawings, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience handling Robotic Welding Systems (ABB / FANUC / Yaskawa preferred).
- Good problem-solving ability and willingness to attend urgent breakdowns.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with TPM / Preventive Maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, welding processes, and Hydraulic Machines.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
