Role Description: The Machine Engineer/Operator will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of machinery used for extracting oleoresins, oils, and tea extracts. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting mechanical and process issues, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.





The role involves collaborating with production and quality teams to improve processing efficiency, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer will also assist in equipment calibration and process documentation to meet regulatory and customer requirements. This is a full time, on-site role based in Tihu, Nalbari, Assam.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Food Processing and Food Industry practices relevant to washing, drying, and oleoresin and oil extraction.
- Experience in Quality Control for food-grade products, including process monitoring and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Understanding of Packaging Design for food ingredients, with a focus on product integrity and shelf-life.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with food processing machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional production and quality teams.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and willingness to follow and promote safe work practices.
