- Patron Assistance: Help visitors conduct research, evaluate reliable sources, and locate reference or leisure materials.
- Community Programming: Plan and host educational workshops, reading events, and storytelling sessions for various age groups.
- Technology & Administration: Oversee library databases, manage operational budgets, and supervise support staff or volunteers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A bachelor's degree followed by a Master's in Library Science (MLS or MLIS) is standard for skilled roles.
- Key Skills: Strong organization, digital literacy, communication, and customer service abilities.
