We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel to manage legal affairs, statutory compliance, election-related documentation, and communications with the Election Commission of India (ECI) and other government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle correspondence, notices, representations, and submissions to the ECI and government authorities.

- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, ECI guidelines, and election-related requirements.

- Advise on elections, nominations, affidavits, statutory filings, election symbols, and the Model Code of Conduct.

- Draft and review legal notices, affidavits, petitions, agreements, resolutions, and official communications.

- Review and advise on organisational rules, constitutions, bye-laws, amendments, and resolutions.

- Maintain compliance records, legal documents, and statutory deadlines.





- Identify legal risks and provide timely legal advice to leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

- LL.B. from a recognised university and enrollment with a State Bar Council.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Experience in election law, constitutional law, political party matters, or civil law preferred.

- Experience before the Election Commission, High Court, or Supreme Court is an advantage.

- Robust legal drafting, litigation, and compliance skills.

- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.

- Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines, and work independently.

- Experience in election compliance, party registration, election disputes, or regulatory matters preferred.
