About the Job

SES is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide legal support across commercial transactions, contract negotiations, compliance, competition law, regulatory matters, and commercial projects.

Eligibility

- Master’s degree or LL.M. in Law

- Bar qualification would be an advantage

- Robust computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Experience Required

Candidates with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or corporate legal department are preferred.

Experience in the telecommunications or media sector would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for:

- Drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts and tender responses

- Ensuring compliance with applicable national and international laws

- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda





- Advising on competition law and regulatory matters

- Supporting transactional and commercial projects

- Providing legal advice on contracts, bids, projects, and public-private partnerships

- Working with internal and external stakeholders across different functions

Location
