Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead – Outbound Process to manage and monitor day-to-day outbound operations across two shifts. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, productivity, SLA adherence, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day outbound operations across 2 shifts.
- Supervise and guide warehouse/outbound team members to achieve daily targets.
- Monitor order processing, picking, packing, staging and dispatch activities.
- Ensure adherence to defined SLA, productivity and quality parameters.
- Track daily operational KPIs and take corrective actions for deviations.
- Coordinate with sourcing, inventory, transport and other internal teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources across shifts.
- Monitor pending orders, ageing orders, short shipments and operational exceptions.
- Handle escalations related to outbound operations and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly MIS and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and company policies.




- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity of operations.
- Train and coach team members on process, quality and productivity standards.
- Coordinate with vendors/3PL partners wherever required.
- Support management in achieving operational and business targets.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of outbound/warehouse operations.
- Good understanding of order fulfilment, dispatch and logistics processes.
- Strong team-handling and shift-management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems will be preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Robust ownership and accountability.

Preferred Candidate
- Graduate in any discipline; logistics/operations qualification will be an advantage.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in warehouse, e-commerce, logistics or fulfilment operations.
- Candidates with experience in handling multiple shifts and teams will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
