Lead Salesforce Developer: We are looking for a partner resource with a passion for Salesforce products and a strong advocacy for standard solutions. The ideal candidate will excel at hands-on configuration and development to achieve tangible results, playing a key role in driving technical excellence alongside our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce Technical Specialist, you will:

- Technical Guidance &
- Oversight: Provide technical leadership and oversight for the other supplier team members, ensuring the adoption of best practices in configuration and development (Apex, LWC) in accordance with Airbus requirements.
- Hands-on Development &
- Configuration: Actively participate in the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud), favouring standard functionality where possible.
- Solution Design &
- Implementation: Translate business requirements into well-designed, scalable, and robust technical solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring they align with established standards and practices.
- Proof of Concept &
- Feature Exploration: Drive technical exploration of current Salesforce capabilities and releases, creating proof of concepts and prototypes to assess feasibility and business impact as required.
- Process Optimization &
- Documentation: Define, document, and refine technical processes to improve team efficiency, code quality, and platform maintenance. Ensure technical designs and solutions are well-documented.
- Platform Health &
- Support: Oversee critical technical platform activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, addressing security notifications, and providing Level 3 support for complex issues.
- Integration Implementation: Work on implementing and maintaining secure integration points between Salesforce and other systems within the Airbus IT Ecosystem.
- Team Coordination &
- Task Management:



Help manage and optimize development tasks and platform activities based on team skills and project priorities, ensuring clear reporting on technical progress.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including participation in technical design discussions.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify technical challenges, dependencies, and risks within the team's scope, raising alerts as necessary.
- Global COE Contribution: Contribute technical expertise and best practices to the Global Center of Excellence (COE), supporting standardization and innovation efforts.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Deep Salesforce Expertise: Extensive hands-on knowledge and development experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce Development: Proven proficiency in Salesforce configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Partner Delivery Management: Demonstrated experience in a partner/vendor lead role to ensure high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
- Solution Implementation: Strong experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying complex Salesforce solutions.
- Integration Implementation: Experience implementing and troubleshooting Salesforce integrations
- Agile &
- Release Management: Experience working within an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) and managing Salesforce releases (CI/CD experience desirable).
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for platform and code-related issues.




- Process Improvement: Ability to define and streamline technical processes for development, testing, and deployment.
- Standard Solution Advocacy: Strong preference for leveraging standard Salesforce functionality effectively before resorting to custom code.
- Collaboration: Ability to coordinate effectively with global stakeholders and team members.
- Platform Maintenance: Experience with operational support, monitoring, and data management (e.g., using DataLoader).
- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.

Good To Have (Preferred Partner Expertise)

- Relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud Consultant).
- Salesforce Security: Good understanding of Salesforce security model and best practices.
- Marketing Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an advantage.
- Additional Salesforce Capabilities: Experience with CRM Analytics, Agentforce, Data 360, and Customer Feedback Management modules.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Knowledge of additional Salesforce modules or AppExchange partner applications.
- Aircraft Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Aircraft systems is advantageous.

Experience: 9-12 Years Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 9+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on software development, including 5+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, configuration) and administration.
