- Zscaler Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess solid expertise in Cisco networking technologies and Zscaler cloud security platforms, with hands-on experience in routing, switching, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall management, and cloud-delivered security services. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing network services while supporting transformation initiatives involving Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Access Service Edge and cloud networking.

Key Responsibilities Network Engineering &
- Operations

- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and VPN environments.
- Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and network appliances.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Monitor network availability and troubleshoot performance issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Maintain network diagrams, standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.

Zscaler

Administration &
- Security
- Deploy, configure, and manage: o Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) o Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) o Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) o Cloud Connectors and Branch Connectors
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust security policies.
- Manage URL filtering, DLP, SSL inspection, application control, and user access policies.




- Monitor Zscaler security events and collaborate with SOC teams for incident investigation and remediation.
- Optimize traffic forwarding methods including PAC files, GRE/IPSec tunnels, and Client Connector deployments. Security &
- Compliance
- Implement and enforce network security controls and policies.
- Support firewall administration and network segmentation initiatives.
- Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
- Perform vulnerability remediation and support security incident response activities. Incident &
- Problem Management
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve critical incidents.
- Participate in on-call and escalation support rotations as required. Automation &
- Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement automation solutions for network provisioning and management.
- Leverage scripting techniques to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to optimize network performance, security, and reliability. Experience
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler platforms.




- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks.
