Role & responsibilities

- Lead development of electrical systems for XL-UUV platforms, including power management, propulsion, illumination, vision, communication and associated embedded systems, following internationally recognised standards
- Analysis and evaluation of circuit designs based on simulation studies and ensure robustness of electronic systems.
- Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electrical modules in accordance with defined standards and protocols.
- Lead selection of electrical and electronic components aligned with system requirements and operational conditions.
- Develop and guide embedded systems including digital, analog, and microcontroller-based designs.
- Preparation of product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising the information




- Maintaining a database of design & manufacturing processes, testing protocols, failure logs, repairs and BOM
- Support in vendor selection and vendor management
- Preparation and tracking of project timelines and budgets in addition to the other general project management aspects of the department
- Development of high-voltage, high-power systems
- Work alongside mechanical, software and manufacturing teams to design and develop the product
- Establish structured engineering processes, workflows, and best practices within the electrical engineering team
