Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Lab Executive and Lab Chemist. The role involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products related to paint driers, pigments, stabilizers, and other additives. The individual will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, conduct calibrations, and ensure accurate documentation of test results in line with company procedures and quality standards.
The role includes supporting quality control activities, preparing test reports, assisting in process and product improvement studies,
and adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with production, quality assurance, and R&D; teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to product development is also part of day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret test results and identify deviations or trends.
- Candidates should possess hands-on laboratory skills, including sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and adherence to standard test methods.
- Candidates should possess experience with laboratory equipment and calibration, ensuring instruments are correctly set up, maintained, and verified.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of quality control procedures, including documentation, compliance with ISO standards, and process checks.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Understanding of industrial coatings, pigments, or chemical manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
