Navaan is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced KDP Publisher to manage the end-to-end publishing process for our books on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both Kindle/eBook and print publishing and be comfortable independently managing formatting, metadata, quality checks, submission, and publication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete Amazon KDP publishing workflow from setup to successful publication.
- Prepare and format manuscripts for Kindle and print editions , ensuring compliance with KDP specifications.
- Review and validate book interiors, including trim size, margins, bleed, dimensions, and print-ready file requirements .
- Upload and validate book covers according to KDP technical specifications.
- Prepare and publish Kindle/eBook editions , ensuring proper digital formatting and functionality.
- Upload and review print book files using KDP Print Previewer and resolve formatting or technical issues.

Set up and optimise Amazon book listings, including:

- Title and subtitle
- Book description
- Author information
- Categories
- Keywords/search terms
- Pricing, royalties, territories, and distribution




- Conduct comprehensive quality checks and KDP preview reviews before submission.
- Manage KDP validation issues, rejections, corrections, and resubmissions through to approval.
- Monitor the publishing process and ensure books are successfully live and purchasable on Amazon .
- Verify the final listing, formats, pricing, metadata, and presentation after publication.
- Maintain and provide accurate publishing records and final KDP settings for internal handover.

Requirements:

- Prior hands-on experience with Amazon KDP publishing .
- Strong understanding of Kindle and print book formatting requirements .
- Experience working with KDP Previewer and Kindle Previewer .
- Ability to independently troubleshoot formatting, layout, cover, and technical issues.
- Familiarity with Amazon book metadata, categories, keywords, pricing, royalties, and distribution settings .
- Robust attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to manage the complete publishing lifecycle with minimal supervision.

Experience publishing multiple books on Amazon KDP will be preferred.
