Junior Legal Associate

Eligibility

•⁠ ⁠LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. from a recognised university.

•⁠ ⁠Freshers as well as candidates with relevant legal experience may apply.

•⁠ ⁠Strong interest in litigation and legal research.

•⁠ ⁠Good command over English drafting and legal communication.

•⁠ ⁠Candidates enrolled with the Bar Council may be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Conducting legal research and preparing case-law briefs.

•⁠ ⁠Drafting petitions, applications, replies, notices, written submissions and other legal documents.

•⁠ ⁠Assisting in preparation and handling of litigation matters.

•⁠ ⁠Case-law research and preparation of notes for court proceedings.

•⁠ ⁠Attending court proceedings and assisting in matters before courts and tribunals.

•⁠ ⁠Assisting in conferences with clients and preparation of case strategies.

•⁠ ⁠Maintaining case files, cause lists, orders and other litigation records.





•⁠ ⁠Performing other legal and research-related assignments as required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates who possess solid research and drafting skills, attention to detail, professional discipline, willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in litigation and advocacy.

The position will provide practical exposure to court proceedings, litigation strategy, legal research, drafting and day-to-day functioning of a litigation chamber.
