Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Junior IT Support Engineer to provide first level technical support to end users and assist in the day-to-day IT operations of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for handling user requests, managing IT assets, supporting onboarding activities, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.

Key Responsibilities

User Support

- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and application related issues.
- Respond to user queries and troubleshoot common IT problems.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.

Laptop Imaging and Deployment

- Prepare, image, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops as per company standards.
- Install and configure operating systems, software, and security tools.
- Ensure systems are ready for end-user usage.

Asset Management

- Maintain records of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Manage asset allocation, transfers, and returns.
- Update asset inventory records regularly.

User Onboarding and Offboarding

- Support new employee onboarding activities.
- Configure and issue IT equipment and user accounts.




- Assist with employee exit processes, including asset recovery and account deactivation.

Ticket Management

- Log, track, update, and close IT support tickets within agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and service requests.
- Follow up with users to ensure timely resolution.

Inventory Management

- Maintain stock of IT equipment and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Assist in procurement and vendor coordination activities.

Administrative Support

- Maintain IT documentation and records.
- Support routine IT administrative activities.
- Assist in audits and compliance-related activities as required.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
