Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role is based in Surat.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating drawings, mood boards, and material palettes; coordinating FF&E; selections; and preparing presentations for client review. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, architects, and vendors, contributing to construction documentation, and participating in site visits to ensure design intent is maintained.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn,



and comfortable working in a quick-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional, aesthetic layouts and concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to support detailed documentation and coordination with project teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in FF&E; to assist with the selection, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
- Strong visualization, design thinking, and basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work within project timelines.
- Willingness to work on-site in Surat and participate in client meetings and site visits as needed.
