Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concept designs, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating drawings, coordinating with vendors for materials and finishes, preparing FF&E; selections, and assisting with site visits and measurements. The role also involves collaborating with senior designers to refine design proposals, helping prepare client presentations, and supporting project documentation from concept through execution.





This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular interaction with the design team, clients, and project partners to ensure design intent is maintained during implementation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and basic understanding of Construction Drawings to support detailed design documentation.
- Experience or training in FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, coordination of finishes, and material sourcing.
- Proficiency with design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, InDesign, or equivalent).
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Solid visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work with different styles, budgets, and client preferences.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mumbai and participate in client meetings and site visits as needed.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow within a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
- 3-4 Years of Experience
