Are you a skilled legal professional with a passion for consumer law, contract negotiations, and dynamic corporate legal environments? Lectio Law is facilitating the recruitment of a talented Junior Associate / Associate for one of its prime clients looking to strategically expand its internal legal department.

Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for legal practitioners with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to take on high-impact work within a fast-paced, in-house environment. You will play a key role in handling complex consumer disputes, managing core contractual frameworks, and providing pragmatic legal counsel directly to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Consumer Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Handle consumer-related legal matters, including drafting, reviewing pleadings, and strategizing case proceedings.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate,



and finalize a diverse array of commercial agreements and operational contracts.
- Legal Advisory: Provide proactive legal opinions and operational advisory to internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks.
- Legal Research: Conduct extensive research on statutory regulations, judicial precedents, and emerging legal trends relevant to consumer protection and contract law.

Eligibility & Candidate Profile

- Experience: 2–3 years of relevant Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Background: Prior experience in an in-house legal team or managing corporate commercial litigation/advisory is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional legal drafting, analytical thinking, and research capability.
- Attributes: Robust communication skills and an enthusiasm for thriving in an agile in-house environment.
