Role Description The Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Junior

Architect will assist in developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings, and creating detailed plans and documentation. Daily responsibilities include supporting senior architects with design development, preparing layouts and 3D visualizations, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring drawings meet relevant codes and standards. The role involves participating in site visits, collecting project data, and assisting in preparing presentations and reports for internal and client review.

Architect will collaborate with project teams to maintain design quality, meet deadlines, and support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of architectural design principles, planning processes, and building codes.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic 3D visualization tools.
- Ability to prepare accurate drawings, documentation, and presentations with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; registration or eligibility to register with the local architectural council is an advantage.
- Interest in sustainable design, local materials, and context-sensitive architecture is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow into increasing responsibilities within the firm.
