We’re looking for a Junior Accountant with around 1 year of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting day-to-day accounting operations while maintaining professional communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily accounting operations for private companies.
- Handle entries for expenses, vendor payments, and invoices.
- Support in GST filing, TDS returns, and income tax documentation under supervision.
- Prepare and update financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for data and report preparation.
- Communicate professionally with clients through calls and emails regarding accounting-related queries and document follow-ups.
- Draft and respond to skilled business emails in a clear and courteous manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in accounting or internship under a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (professional email etiquette is a must).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a CA firm or under professional supervision.
- Familiarity with ROC filings, MCA compliance, and internal audits.
- Ability to multitask and manage client interactions with professionalism.
