We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to assist with day-to-day accounting operations, financial documentation, GST-related activities, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Maintain books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in GST compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation.
- Assist with TDS calculations and related documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up when required.
- Assist senior accountants in audits and statutory compliance.
- Maintain accounting data accurately in Tally Prime AND ZOHO BOOKS
- Prepare regular MIS and accounting reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent.
- Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge can apply.
