Role Description The Jr. Accountant role at DJV Infrastructure Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Jr. Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing vouchers and invoices, reconciling bank statements, supporting monthly and annual closing activities, and ensuring accurate documentation for audits and compliance. The role also involves coordinating with project teams to track expenses, updating financial reports,



and assisting senior accounting staff with data analysis and statutory filings. The Jr.

Accountant is expected to follow company policies, maintain confidentiality of financial information, and contribute to an organized and effective finance function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess fundamental accounting skills, including knowledge of journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and report generation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with taxation and compliance basics, such as GST, TDS, and statutory record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, project, and administrative teams.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Relevant educational qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certification in accounting is an advantage.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance, preferably in construction or infrastructure, will be considered an added benefit.
