Role Description The Jr. Copywriter role at SquidJC is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. In this role, the team member will write and edit clear, engaging copy for multiple channels, including press releases, marketing campaigns, social media, and website content.

Daily responsibilities include brainstorming and developing concepts with the creative and marketing teams, adapting messages to different audiences, and ensuring consistency with brand voice and guidelines. The Jr. Copywriter will conduct light research to support content accuracy, collaborate with designers and strategists,



and refine drafts based on feedback.

This position also involves proofreading materials for grammar, spelling, and tone, and maintaining organized documentation of content and revisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Proofreading skills to create accurate, polished, and engaging copy.
- Candidates should possess Press Releases and Marketing skills to support brand communication across campaigns and public announcements.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and present ideas clearly.
- Candidates should bring creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates with familiarity with digital and social media platforms, basic content strategy, and an interest in data-driven marketing will be preferred.
