About The Role

We are seeking a talented Engineer II Software Development to join our Pune Center of Excellence. This role is primarily focused on backend development, involving the creation and maintenance of APIs, integrations, and core services that drive our software solutions. As a vital member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing scalable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, product management, and senior developers to deliver high-quality features on schedule.

Your expertise will contribute to troubleshooting, bug fixing, and implementing enhancements that improve system performance and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment,



where your technical skills will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of airline operations worldwide.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2 to 4 years of hands-on development experience. Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, XML, and TypeScript is essential, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices. Familiarity with Agile methodologies will be advantageous, as well as strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Candidates with experience in C++ or the airline domain will be preferred, but not mandatory. A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain software features using JavaScript, Node.js, XML, and TypeScript, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams, product owners, and senior engineers to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
- Create and update technical documentation, sharing knowledge within the team to promote best practices and continuous learning.




- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools to enhance team productivity and product quality.
