Role Description The Java Technical Lead (Fintech) is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role involves leading the design and development of Java-based fintech applications, guiding the technical direction of projects, and ensuring high-quality code and architecture.

The individual will collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions, review code, and mentor the engineering team. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development lifecycles, enforcing best practices in security and performance, managing integrations with databases and external APIs, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.





The Java Technical

Lead will also participate in technical planning, contribute to continuous improvement, and support production deployments and incident resolution.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with deep expertise in Java and related frameworks used in fintech solutions.
- Hands-on experience working with Databases, including design, optimization, and integration of relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Solid understanding of Cybersecurity principles, especially in financial applications, including secure coding practices and data protection.
- Knowledge of Network Security concepts relevant to fintech systems, such as encryption, secure communication, and access controls.
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and driving architectural decisions for complex, high-availability systems.
- Background in fintech or financial services technology, with familiarity in payment systems, trading platforms, or banking solutions.
- Proficiency with modern development tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, version control, code review tools, unit and integration testing).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
