Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

- Design and develop RESTful microservices and event-driven applications using Spring Boot 3 and JDK 21, including Virtual Threads, HttpClient, Records, Optional, and Pattern Matching.
- Migrate/refactor applications to JDK 21 & Spring Boot 3, including dependency upgrades and deprecated API cleanup.
- Implement Drools Rule Engine and application observability using Micrometer, distributed tracing, structured logging, health checks, and Actuator.
- Develop Kafka and RabbitMQ producers/consumers with retry, dead-letter, idempotency, offset management, and Saga/event-driven workflows.
- Build optimized Dockerfiles/multi-stage builds and Kubernetes manifests; troubleshoot pod crashes, OOMKills, JVM heap, resource, and networking issues.
- Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, SonarQube, SAST, dependency scanning, Docker image build/push, and Kubernetes deployment; manage runners, secrets, and variables.
- Design Oracle schemas and develop SQL/PL/SQL, including query/index tuning and connection-pool configuration.
- Develop lightweight Python/FastAPI services and perform log, metrics, and data validation analysis.
- Ensure code quality using SonarQube, Checkstyle, SpotBugs, and PR gates; handle production troubleshooting, incident response, RCA, and postmortems.

Skills





- Strong expertise in Java 21/JDK 21 and Spring Boot 3, with hands-on experience developing RESTful microservices.
- Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture, including Saga patterns and asynchronous workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ, including producers/consumers, retry, dead-letter queues, idempotency, offset management, and consumer lag.
- Proficiency in implementing Drools Rule Engine and developing rule-based application frameworks.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, Kubernetes manifests, troubleshooting, and containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitLab runners, automated testing, SonarQube, SAST, dependency scanning, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Robust knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL, including schema design, query optimization, index tuning, and connection-pool configuration.
- Experience developing lightweight microservices using Python and FastAPI and performing data validation and analysis.
- Experience using SonarQube, Checkstyle, and SpotBugs to enforce code quality and maintain engineering standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in JVM performance, production support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems
