Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Java Backend Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems and enterprise microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, drive technical architecture, and ensure code quality across production systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Core Development: Write clean, modular, maintainable, and highly efficient Java code for scalable backend architectures.
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven backend systems using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Database Management: Build, optimize, and maintain relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Cloud & DevOps: Containerize applications using Docker/Kubernetes and deploy onto cloud infrastructure AWS using modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance Tuning: Perform code reviews,



profile applications, and optimize query/system execution to handle high-throughput, low-latency demands.
- Technical Leadership: Guide junior/mid-level engineers, drive technical documentation, and actively participate in agile development ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).

Requirements & Qualifications Must-Have Skills:

- Experience: 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in backend software development using Java (Java 11 or higher).
- Frameworks: Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring MVC).
- Architecture: In-depth understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, Design Patterns, and OOP principles.
- Databases: Solid hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis).
- Messaging & Queues: Practical experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Testing: Proficiency in unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
- Build Tools & Version Control: Expertise with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
