Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Sales / Business Development professional responsible for managing the end-to-end IT sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to client acquisition, proposal preparation, negotiation, order closure, and post-sales relationship management.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, references, and networking.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Conduct market research to identify recent business opportunities.

1. Client Requirement Understanding

- Connect with clients to understand their IT requirements and business challenges.
- Gather technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team to understand and propose suitable IT solutions.

1. IT Solution Sales

- Sell IT products and services such as:
- IT Infrastructure & Networking
- Servers & Storage
- Cloud Solutions
- Cybersecurity Solutions
- Microsoft 365 / Licensing
- AMC & IT Support Services
- Manpower / IT Staffing Services
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Firewall & Network Security
- Software / Hardware Solutions

1. Proposal & Quotation

- Prepare and submit technical/commercial proposals and quotations.
- Coordinate with internal technical and management teams for solution design and pricing.
- Follow up with clients for proposal clarification and feedback.

1. Sales Closure

- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Handle commercial discussions and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Follow up regularly to convert prospects into customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Order & Contract Management

- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for purchase orders, agreements, and contracts.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed orders to the implementation/delivery team.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery.

1. Account Management & Upselling

- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional IT products and services.
- Conduct regular client meetings and collect feedback.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

1. Sales Reporting

- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Track leads, opportunities, quotations, negotiations, and closures.
- Provide regular sales forecasts to management.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and solutions.
- Proven experience in B2B IT sales and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.
- Good understanding of the complete sales lifecycle.
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings when required.

Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales is an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant IT sales experience will be preferred.
