Job Summary

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, for assisting in contributing to and leveraging the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions, and for providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed.

Responsibilties

- Leads and supports business and IT projects, ensuring priorities, timelines, resources, policies, and procedures are effectively managed.
- Designs, develops, and delivers secure, scalable, resilient, high-volume applications using DevOps, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Translates business and functional requirements into technical designs, application components, and software solutions.
- Collaborates with Business Analysts, architects, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Provides technical recommendations and ensures solutions align with architectural standards, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Leads incident management, troubleshooting, implementation, and post-production support for complex application issues.
- Supports integration, unit, and user acceptance testing by performing triage, defect fixes,



and test validation.
- Develops and maintains technical specifications, documentation, interfaces, APIs, and application components.
- Leads and mentors technical team members throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Participates in project estimation, planning, resource coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Applies database concepts, data modeling, architecture, security, and information management principles to application solutions.
- Ensures data accessibility, integrity, security, retrievability, and proper information handling across systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of software development experience. Candidates without a degree should have 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working across Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Technical Lead role.
- Familiarity with Backstage or similar developer portal platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with React, TypeScript libraries, and/or Python.
- Experience working in Protected Agile teams.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and container technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow.
