Role Description The Inventory Executive role at Mariinox is a full-time, in office position based in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
The Inventory
Executive is responsible for monitoring, recording, and maintaining accurate stock levels of vehicles, parts, and materials at the facility. Daily tasks include updating inventory records, performing physical stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and coordinating with operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of required items. The role also involves tracking inbound and outbound movement, preparing regular inventory reports, following safety and compliance guidelines, and supporting process improvements to reduce losses and optimize storage.
This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to internal controls and government regulations related to vehicle scrapping and recycling.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong inventory management and stock control skills, including experience with recording, tracking, and reconciling inventory data.
Candidates should possess proficiency in using inventory or ERP software, MS Excel, and basic data entry tools for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Candidates should possess skills in documentation, reporting, and basic analysis to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory summaries and variance reports.
Candidates should possess coordination and communication skills to work effectively with operations, procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines.
Relevant experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or operations in manufacturing, automotive, or recycling sectors is beneficial.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, adapt to a dynamic environment, and uphold safety and environmental standards in line with regulatory requirements
