Job Summary The successful candidate will assist in testing assignments. Responsibilities include:
- Sets-up and operates all test equipment and performs tests within a certain product area;
- Performs the tests in accordance with work orders issued by jobholders; conducts routine tests; acts as an assistant in complex or unusual tests, under guidance from senior staff or job holder
- Records technical data, and drafts test result reports.
- Performs mathematical calculations required to summarize test results
- Assembles and disassembles test samples, hooks-up laboratory test equipment in preparation for testing; operates most laboratory test equipment.
Education and Experience
- Final year degree / diploma engineering students or completed Bachelors degree / diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Only candidates available for full time (in-office) internship can apply
- Knowledge of standards, government policy, and electronics / electrical sector landscape would be an asset.
