Intern, Talent Acquisition
Location: Bangalore
Work mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)
Duration: 3 Months
Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Manager, People & Operations
Role Purpose:
Quest Alliance is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to support recruitment coordination, candidate communication, sourcing, and applicant tracking. The intern will help the People and Operations team deliver a timely, organised, and respectful hiring experience across program, technology, design, and functional roles.
You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and panel members, update recruitment records, gain exposure to an Applicant Tracking System, and support sourcing through Naukri and other recruitment channels. The role requires consistency, follow-through, comfort with digital tools, and strong attention to detail.
This opportunity is open to candidates from diverse educational and professional backgrounds. Prior HR experience is not mandatory. It is best suited to someone who is curious about people, recruitment systems, and how organisations identify and engage talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
- Schedule screening calls, interviews, assignments, and follow-up discussions by coordinating candidate and panel availability.
- Send clear interview confirmations, reminders, meeting links, location details, and rescheduling communication.
- Track interview status and follow up with candidates and panel members to keep recruitment processes moving on time.
- Support a professional and respectful candidate experience by responding promptly and communicating next steps clearly.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling candidate information, interview feedback, and internal hiring discussions.
2) ATS & Recruitment Operations
- Update candidate records, interview stages, notes, tags, attachments, and activity status in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Support job posting, application review workflows, candidate movement, and basic recruitment reports under team guidance.
- Maintain accurate trackers for open roles, candidate pipelines, interviews, feedback, offers, and joining status.
- Check data quality and flag missing information, duplicate records, delayed feedback,
or process gaps to the Talent Acquisition team.
- Learn and follow established recruitment workflows, service timelines, documentation standards, and data privacy practices.
3) Sourcing & Talent Mapping
- Search for relevant candidate profiles through Naukri and other approved sourcing channels using role-specific keywords and filters.
- Build initial talent lists and record essential information such as experience, location, current organisation, notice period, and contact details.
- Support outreach to prospective candidates using approved messages and maintain follow-up status.
- Conduct basic research on talent pools, competitor organisations, colleges, networks, and specialist communities relevant to open roles.
- Assist with referral, campus, internship, and employer-branding activities when required.
Required Experiences & Skills:
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, especially when working with schedules, names, contact information, documents, and status updates.
- Explicit written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets, calendars, email, and shared documents.
- Willingness to learn Applicant Tracking Systems, recruitment workflows, sourcing tools, and candidate data-management practices.
- Ability to follow up consistently, manage multiple small tasks, and work within defined timelines.
- Familiarity with Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment, or HR processes is helpful but not mandatory.
- Students, recent graduates, career switchers, or early-career candidates from any educational background may apply.
- Relevant internship, volunteer, coordination, customer service, administration, research, or campus leadership experience will be considered.
- Candidates based in and around Kengeri are encouraged to apply.
Stipend: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 15,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
