Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Madurai.

The Interior

Designer will meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements, and budget, then develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that align with Livspace’s standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating detailed interior layouts, coordinating construction drawings with internal and external stakeholders, and selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that meet functional and aesthetic goals. The role involves regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure design intent is maintained, and collaborate with project managers,



contractors, and vendors to resolve design and execution issues.

The Interior

Designer will also update project documentation, manage client expectations, and contribute to an effective and high-quality design-to-delivery process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and experience coordinating with architects and structural consultants for holistic design solutions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and technical documentation for on-site execution.
- Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E; selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with design concepts and budgets.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with attention to detail and project ownership.
- Prior experience in residential interior projects, familiarity with local building regulations, and fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
