Role – PE / SPE The role is an integral part of various Wealth Management operations offering a wide variety range of strictly selected investments products and services designed for the unique needs of professional service firms, financial intermediaries, institutions and individuals world-wide. It entails working in extremely high risk, time-critical and dynamic atmosphere dealing with a broad spectrum of clientele such as fund companies, carrier/insurance companies, brokers, custodians, onshore teams & other internal teams with unique requirements.
Key deliverables / responsibilities
∙Assist front office in buying and selling insurance policies and linking it with the client account to ensure smooth processing of various claims
∙Responsible for tracking and paying commissions to FA for selling insurance products and annuity clients.
∙Process various requests received from FA via workflow tool for linking the policy with account.
∙Process trades manually which are stuck in the system due to technical glitches.
∙Achieve turnaround time & accuracy targets for all areas of work
∙Understand and interpret verbal & written communication effectively to take required course of action
∙Exceed / Meet training targets and get accredited on various worktypes within the team
∙Keep abreast with latest process updates received at regular intervals / ad-hoc cases
∙Complete all mandatory training and certifications for self and adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure compliance
∙Effectively address client queries with timeliness and accuracy
∙Process exceptions and/or tasks assigned as per the defined procedures/timelines
∙Liaise with all stakeholders via email/phone call/chats to ensure timely & accurate resolution.
∙Actively participate and contribute to team initiatives such as regular team meetings, process huddles, and presentation of thoughts/ideas, etc.
Education
∙Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – practical experience preferred
∙MBA, Preferable finance (Desired)
∙Any PG Course
Experience
0-3 years relevant experience in Insurance Operations back office operations
Essential Skills / Aptitude
∙Knowledge of securities market. (Essential)
∙Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. (Essential)
∙Positive working knowledge of Excel & Word (essential).
∙Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required. (Essential)
