Role & responsibilities

1 Lead and manage IQC, PQA, FQA, OQA, and customer quality functions across Ingot & Wafer manufacturing operations.

2 Develop, implement, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs, Control Plans, PFMEA, Inspection Standards, Quality Procedures, and documentation control systems.

3 Drive quality strategy to improve First Pass Yield (FPY), process capability (Cp/Cpk), product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

4 Lead customer complaint management, warranty investigations, 8D reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

5 Establish quality objectives, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement to reduce PPM, COPQ, scrap, rework, and process variation.

6 Lead Internal Audits, Layered Process Audits (LPA), Product Audits, Supplier Audits, Customer Audits, and Certification Audits while ensuring closure of audit observations.

7 Ensure effective implementation of SPC, MSA, Process Validation, Recent Product Introduction (NPI), Process Change Management, and Risk Assessment activities.

8 Collaborate with Production, Process, Maintenance, Engineering, SCM, R&D;, and other Cross Functional Teams (CFT)



to resolve critical quality issues and improve manufacturing performance.

9 Review and approve quality reports, management dashboards, quality trend analysis, KPI reports, and Management Review Meeting (MRM) inputs

10 Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives and ensure incoming material quality meets defined standards.

11 Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, competency development, and performance management of Engineers, Associate Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Quality Inspectors.

12 Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Digital Quality Systems, automation, and operational excellence initiatives to enhance quality performance and business results.

13 Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IMS, customer-specific standards, EHS requirements, and company policies while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

14 Knowledge of QMS, Quality Tools, Inspection & Measurement, Ingot & Wafer Processes, Problem Solving, CAPA, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, Data Analysis, SAP, Documentation, Communication, Teamwork and Continuous Improvement
