We are hiring an IT Operations Engineer to join MaprGo in Pune.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build and operate IT infrastructure from the ground up, spanning office IT, data center infrastructure, Linux systems, cloud services, networking, and high-performance computing environments.

Responsibilities

- Design and deploy IT infrastructure for offices and data centers, including data center planning, power systems, network infrastructure, server deployment and configuration, and other IT-related systems.
- Maintain multiple Linux-based servers and ensure reliability, stability, and high availability of services.
- Maintain and manage AWS cloud services.
- Support network, storage, compute, and infrastructure operations across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Work with engineers on data replay-related tasks, including preparation of test reports and support for issue investigation and troubleshooting.
- Support IT infrastructure planning, vendor coordination, hardware evaluation, procurement, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Assist in the evaluation and procurement of high-performance workstations, server racks, GPU infrastructure, networking equipment, storage, and other IT systems.

Requirements
- 2–3+ years of experience with IDC/data center infrastructure and/or cloud servers, with hands-on experience in at least one complete IT system setup and deployment project.
- Solid understanding of system stability, reliability, and high availability, with practical experience maintaining production-grade systems.
- Robust Linux administration skills and familiarity with commonly used system administration and operations tools.
- Understanding of networking, servers, storage, power, UPS, and data center infrastructure.




- Responsible and detail-oriented, with the ability to independently identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues.
- Good coordination skills for working with infrastructure vendors, hardware suppliers, ISPs, and other external partners.
- Previous software development experience is a plus.
- DevOps-related experience is a plus.
- Experience with GPUs, high-performance workstations, server hardware, or AI/ML infrastructure is a strong advantage.

Why this role is unique This will be a challenging and highly impactful role because MaprGo is currently setting up a new physical office and data center infrastructure from the ground up.

The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing the IT environment, including networking, server infrastructure, power and redundancy planning, racks, storage, connectivity, and overall data center operations.

The role will also have direct influence on major technology procurement decisions, including high-end engineering workstations, GPU systems, servers, storage, server racks, networking infrastructure, and related hardware.

Beyond acting as an IT Operations Engineer, the candidate will work closely with the CEO and leadership team and will be a key contributor to IT operations, infrastructure strategy, vendor evaluation, and technology procurement.
