Role Description The Information Security Governance & Administration Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing security governance frameworks, coordinating risk assessments, managing security controls, and monitoring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

The role involves collaborating with IT, operations, and leadership teams to ensure secure application and network environments, leading incident response processes, and preparing security reports and dashboards for management. The Lead will also guide awareness programs, support audits, and drive continuous improvements to the security posture across the organization.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Security Management and Cybersecurity, including governance frameworks, risk assessment, and security control implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, focusing on secure software lifecycle practices, vulnerability management, and secure configuration of business applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including designing and managing secure network architectures, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and network monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Data Privacy, including understanding data protection regulations, privacy-by-design principles, and implementing appropriate safeguards for sensitive information.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in security governance roles, familiarity with industry standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor team members, work in office in Ahmedabad, and adapt to evolving regulatory and technology landscapes.
