- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and supplier-delivered products as per quality standards and inspection plans.
- Verify material specifications, dimensions, appearance, and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Review supplier certificates, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, production, and quality teams regarding material quality issues.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Assist in supplier quality evaluations and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain calibration status awareness of measuring instruments and inspection tools.
