Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor / Team Leader to manage AP operations and lead a team. The role will be responsible for AP process management, month-end closing, stakeholder management, escalations, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team and ensure quality, productivity and SLA targets.
- Handle AP processes including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, service desk and discrepancy management.
- Act as an AP Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Manage AP month-end close and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements for Europe and America.
- Handle escalations and manage relationships with global stakeholders.
- Monitor ticketing systems and identify recurring issues/root causes.
- Conduct team performance reviews,



coaching and mentoring.
- Drive process improvement, transition, migration and transformation initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and strong ownership of AP issues.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
- 4+ years of people/team management experience
- Robust experience in AP processes and accounting
- Experience in Shared Services / GBS environment
- Experience supporting Europe and America
- Strong knowledge of AP month-end close and reporting
- Experience with SAP / SAP S4HANA preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow / Ticket Management Systems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in process transition/migration/transformation is preferred
- Manufacturing / Industrial Products experience preferred
