About the Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist who can take ownership of the complete employee lifecycle and help build a strong, structured, and people-focused workplace.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, can independently handle day-to-day HR responsibilities, and is equally interested in building systems that improve how people work and grow within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles.
- Understand hiring requirements and prepare or refine job descriptions.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, social platforms, and other relevant channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial HR screening calls.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership.
- Maintain candidate trackers and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support offer discussions, documentation, and joining formalities.
- Track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, interview-to-selection ratio, and joining ratio.

2. Onboarding & Employee Experience

- Manage the complete onboarding process for recent employees.
- Ensure all joining documentation and HR formalities are completed.
- Conduct HR induction and introduce employees to company policies, culture, values, and ways of working.
- Coordinate role-specific onboarding with respective teams.
- Conduct onboarding check-ins to understand the employee's early experience.
- Identify and address onboarding gaps to improve employee integration and retention.

3. Employee Relations

- Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries and concerns.
- Build healthy and professional relationships across teams.
- Handle employee concerns with confidentiality, fairness, and sound judgement.
- Support managers in addressing behavioural, performance, and workplace issues.
- Assist in conflict resolution and ensure concerns are appropriately documented and followed through.
- Maintain a strong understanding of employee sentiment and workplace dynamics.

4. Performance Management

- Support the organisation's performance management process.
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback cycles.
- Work with managers to ensure employees have clear goals and expectations.
- Track performance review completion and follow up on pending actions.
- Support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), including documentation, review schedules, and follow-ups.
- Help identify recurring performance gaps and recommend interventions.
- Maintain performance records and ensure decisions are supported by clear documentation.

5. Learning & Development





- Own and coordinate the organisation's Learning & Development initiatives.
- Identify training and development needs through performance reviews, manager feedback, employee discussions, and business requirements.
- Create and maintain individual, team, and organisation-level L&D; plans.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Develop and facilitate microlearning sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives where required.
- Track participation, completion, and effectiveness of training programs.
- Measure whether training translates into improved skills, behaviour, and performance.
- Support managers in creating development plans for their team members.
- Maintain an L&D; calendar and training records.
- Build a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

6. HR Operations & Administration

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage attendance, leave, employee movements, and HR databases.
- Prepare HR letters including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, warning letters, and other employee documentation.
- Maintain employee files and ensure required documents are collected and organised.
- Update HR systems and trackers regularly.
- Prepare HR reports and people-related data for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organisational information.

7. Policies & Compliance

- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and processes.
- Ensure employees understand company policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Maintain HR documentation required for compliance.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on statutory compliance, payroll inputs, benefits, insurance, and other employee-related requirements.
- Stay updated on applicable employment laws and HR practices.
- Support internal audits and documentation whenever required.

8. Payroll & Benefits Support

- Coordinate with the finance/payroll team to provide accurate monthly payroll inputs.
- Verify attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and employee changes before payroll processing.
- Support employees with payroll-related queries.
- Assist with employee benefits, insurance, statutory benefits, and related documentation.
- Ensure employee data changes are communicated accurately and on time.

9. Engagement, Culture & Employee Development

- Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, celebrations, and internal initiatives.




- Gather employee feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Support recognition and appreciation initiatives.
- Help translate organisational values into everyday employee behaviours.
- Contribute to creating a workplace where employees have clarity, accountability, and opportunities to grow.

10. Offboarding & Exit Management

- Manage the HR process for employee resignations and exits.
- Conduct exit interviews and capture meaningful feedback.
- Coordinate exit documentation and clearance processes.
- Ensure company assets and access are appropriately closed or recovered.
- Coordinate with finance and relevant teams for final settlement requirements.
- Analyse exit trends and identify recurring reasons for attrition.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist / People Operations roles.
- Prior experience handling multiple HR functions independently is preferred.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and L&D; will be strongly preferred.
- Startup or high-growth company experience is an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
