Main Roles and Responsibilities

1. Manpower Planning

- Estimate the number and type of workers required for each construction project.

- Plan manpower according to project schedules and deadlines.

1. Recruitment and Selection

- Recruit engineers, supervisors, skilled workers, unskilled labourers, and office staff.

- Conduct interviews and select suitable candidates.

1. Employee Onboarding

- Complete joining formalities and documentation.

- Explain company rules, policies, job responsibilities, and safety requirements.

1. Attendance and Payroll

- Maintain attendance, overtime, leave, and shift records.

- Coordinate salary and wage payments for employees and workers.

1. Labour Law Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.

- Maintain statutory records and documentation related to employees and contract labour.

1. Health and Safety

- Coordinate with the safety department to promote safe working practices.

- Ensure workers receive safety training and use appropriate protective equipment.

1. Training and Development

- Arrange training for workers, supervisors,



and employees.

- Support skill development and improve employee performance.

1. Employee Relations

- Handle employee complaints, grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters.

- Maintain good relations between management and workers.

1. Contract Labour Management

- Coordinate with labour contractors and subcontractors.

- Maintain records of contract workers and monitor compliance requirements.

1. Performance Management

- Monitor employee performance and support performance evaluations.

- Help managers identify areas for improvement.

1. Welfare and Employee Advantages

- Manage employee benefits and welfare facilities.

- Support accommodation, transportation, canteen, medical assistance, and other facilities where provided.

1. Project-Based HR Management

- Transfer or arrange workers between project sites according to requirements.

- Manage demobilization and employee movement when a project is completed.
