About The Role The HR Operations Consultant - Workday Reporting will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR and business functions through the development and management of custom reports and analytics within Workday. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of translating complex business requirements into actionable data insights. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, develop comprehensive reports, and ensure data accuracy and security.

This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of our HR data systems and facilitating data-driven decision making across the organization.

The role involves creating advanced reports using Workday Report Writer, maintaining report libraries, and supporting ongoing data quality initiatives. The candidate will also provide training and guidance to end users, ensuring they can interpret and utilize reports effectively.



Staying current with Workday’s latest features and best practices is essential to optimize reporting capabilities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least three years of experience in HR reporting, preferably with extensive hands-on experience in Workday reporting tools.

Certifications in Workday HCM and reporting are highly desirable. A strong understanding of Workday HCM modules, report writer functionalities, and data governance principles is essential. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, are critical for success in this role. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required. Additional experience with HR technology platforms such as iCIMS and Leena AI workflows will be considered advantageous. A thorough understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance standards is necessary to ensure responsible data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain custom reports and analytics using Workday Report Writer, including advanced, matrix, composite reports, and calculated fields.
- Analyze report data to derive meaningful insights, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
- Prioritize reporting requests, manage workload, and ensure timely delivery aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Share data insights responsibly, adhering to privacy, security, and data governance policies.




- Provide training, guidance, and support to end users to facilitate effective report utilization and interpretation.
- Document report logic, definitions, and processes to support knowledge transfer and future reference.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting documentation, data dictionaries, and inventories in accordance with governance standards.
- Stay updated on Workday reporting enhancements and incorporate best practices into reporting processes.
- Review existing reports and calculated fields periodically to identify opportunities for optimization or retirement.
- Support ongoing data quality initiatives, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reports.
- Manage reporting needs across other HR platforms like iCIMS and Leena AI, including ad hoc and recurring reports.
- Assess workflows and suggest improvements for HR automation tools to streamline reporting processes.
