HR Analyst

OCU is looking for an experienced HR Analyst to support our Group Chief People Officer, CPO Australia and regional HR teams with people data, analysis and reporting.

This role will work across different systems and regions, bringing people data together, analysing it and turning it into clear information that can support senior decision-making. Some outputs will support Board, ESG and investor reporting, so accuracy and attention to detail are critical..

Key responsibilities

- Support the Group CPO, CPO ANZ and regional HR teams with data, analysis and materials for Board and executive meetings
- Pull, clean and analyse people data from different systems and sources
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports, including themes, trends, sentiment and market data
- Support regulatory, ESG, Board and investor reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
- Prepare clear PowerPoint summaries and explain insights in plain language
- Reconcile data across different systems, periods and reporting definitions
- Maintain accurate records of reported data and reporting outputs
- Use AI tools and automation where they can improve efficiency
- Work with HR and data colleagues across the UK, Australia and India

What we're looking for





- 2+ years' professional experience in HR analytics, people analytics, people data or a similar role
- Strong Excel skills and hands-on Power BI experience
- Strong attention to detail and confidence reconciling data across different systems and reporting periods
- Ability to interpret data and explain findings clearly in writing and presentations
- Experience producing HR reports and analysing people data
- Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence communicating with senior UK and international stakeholders
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential people data
- Ability to manage your own workload and work effectively with senior colleagues remotely
- Interest in using AI and automation to improve reporting and analysis

Desirable

- Experience supporting senior leaders or executives
- Exposure to ESG, Board or investor reporting
- Experience in a PE-backed environment
- HR systems data or systems migration experience
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- Background in engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure

Working pattern: Full time, with flexibility to overlap with UK and Australian working hours.
