About the Role We are looking for
Hotel Sales professionals to join our Sales & Reservations team as
Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager , depending on experience and capability. This is not a traditional field-sales role focused primarily on market visits and cold calling. Our marketing engine generates a steady flow of inbound guest, group, corporate, wedding, event and holiday inquiries.
Your responsibility is to turn that demand into confirmed bookings, higher revenue and long-term guest relationships. You will be responsible for managing and converting the inquiry-to-booking journey — from the first interaction with a potential guest to confirmation, follow-up, upselling and post-booking coordination. For experienced candidates, the role will additionally involve leading the sales team, managing the sales funnel, closing high-value business and owning revenue targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Conversion
Handle inbound hotel and resort inquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, website, OTAs and marketing campaigns. Respond to inquiries within defined turnaround times and maintain a high speed-to-first-contact. Understand guest requirements and recommend the most suitable resort, room category, package and experience.
Effectively pitch room rates, packages, offers, inclusions and resort experiences. Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through structured follow-ups and strong closing skills. Maintain consistent follow-up on warm and hot leads until closure.
Handle guest objections, negotiations and booking-related concerns professionally. Identify opportunities for upselling room upgrades, meal plans, experiences and other add-ons. Encourage repeat bookings, referrals and long-term guest relationships.
CRM & Sales Process Management
Maintain accurate records of every inquiry, conversation, follow-up and booking in the CRM. Ensure that no lead is left untracked or without a defined next action. Maintain accurate pipeline stages,
booking status and follow-up schedules. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales reports. Track individual and team performance against defined sales KPIs. Maintain strong discipline around response time, follow-up and lead closure. Resort & Internal Coordination
Coordinate with resort teams regarding availability, inventory, rates and booking confirmations. Communicate special guest requirements and ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings. Coordinate with resort General Managers and internal teams for inventory priorities and guest commitments. Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality, campaigns and conversion performance. Team Leadership — Sales Manager Level For candidates joining at
Sales Manager level: Lead, train and coach Assistant Sales Managers and the reservations team. Set daily, weekly and monthly sales objectives for the team. Monitor team pipelines, call quality, follow-up discipline and conversion performance.
Establish response-time standards, follow-up cadences and sales pitch frameworks. Personally handle and close high-value group, corporate, wedding, event, offsite and long-stay inquiries. Handle escalations, negotiations and complex sales situations within approved commercial guidelines.
Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews and implement corrective actions. Own team revenue targets and forecast future booking performance. Build a high-performance, target-oriented sales culture.
Key Performance Indicators Performance will be evaluated through measurable sales and business outcomes, including: Lead response time Lead-to-booking conversion ratio Follow-up closure rate Monthly and quarterly revenue achieved against target Average revenue per booking / lead High-value group, corporate, wedding and event revenue CRM accuracy and discipline Pipeline health and forecast accuracy Upselling and additional revenue generation Guest satisfaction and repeat bookings Team productivity and capability development — Sales Manager level Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for professionals who are: Passionate about hotel, resort, travel or hospitality sales. Highly confident in communicating with guests over phone and WhatsApp. Strong at pitching, persuasion, objection handling and closing.
Persistent and disciplined with follow-ups. Comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics. Customer-focused while being commercially driven. Comfortable working with CRM systems, Excel and sales reporting.
Energetic, self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced sales environment. Able to work collaboratively with marketing, reservations and resort teams. ExperienceAssistant Sales Manager
2–4 years of experience in hotel sales, reservations, tele-sales, travel or holiday sales. Graduate in any discipline; hospitality or travel background preferred. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English. Sales Manager
5–8 years of experience in hotel/resort sales or reservations. At least
1–2 years of team leadership experience preferred. Proven experience in achieving revenue targets and closing group, corporate, wedding or event business. Graduate in any discipline; hospitality management qualification preferred. Strong leadership, negotiation and closing capabilities.
