Job Summary :

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Hospital Pharmacist to manage the hospital pharmacy operations and ensure the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medicines to patients and clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for correct drug, dosage, quantity, and instructions.
- Maintain proper stock of medicines, surgical items, and pharmacy consumables.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per applicable guidelines.
- Maintain pharmacy records, registers, invoices, and documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding medication requirements.
- Handle purchase requests, stock replenishment, and inventory management.
- Monitor and minimize medicine wastage and expiry-related losses.
- Maintain records of controlled/scheduled medicines as required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Provide basic medication-related information and guidance to patients when required.
- Support internal audits, inspections,



and quality-control activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and discipline within the pharmacy.
- Perform any other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the management.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy is preferred.
- Freshers with the required qualification and registration may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and prescriptions.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good inventory and stock-management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain pharmacy records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
- Responsible, organized, and patient-focused approach.

Experience 0-2years of relevant experience preferred.
