We’re Hiring: Video Editor – Fashion & Lifestyle
Shuttercraft Studios is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our creative team in
Bangalore.
We create visual content for leading fashion and lifestyle brands across campaign films,
digital content, photography, design and AI-led visual production.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics and editing craft — someone who can understand a creative brief, identify the core message a brand wants to communicate, and translate it effectively through cuts, pacing, music, sound,
SFX and post-production.
AI is becoming an integral part of our video-production workflow, so we are looking for an editor who is already using, or is highly open to adopting, AI-driven tools to improve speed,
efficiency and creative possibilities.
The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, highly versatile and comfortable moving between different projects, formats and creative requirements, while actively adapting to new
AI tools and evolving editing technologies without compromising quality or attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a wide range of content including fashion films, model videos, product
- videos, explainer videos, e-commerce content and digital content
- Translate creative briefs and brand messaging into cohesive visual narratives
- Build storytelling through pacing, cuts, music, sound design, SFX and visual
- treatment
- Work across both highly crafted campaign films and faster, template-led or
- e-commerce video requirements
- Use AI-driven tools across editing, video generation, enhancement and
- post-production workflows
- Stay updated with emerging editing styles, contemporary music, sound design, AI
- tools and new video technologies
- Collaborate closely with creative, production and post-production teams
- Take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality work within timelines
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, advertising, branded content or a similar creative
- environment will be an advantage
- A strong showreel demonstrating editing craft, storytelling and visual sensibility
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects
- Good understanding of motion graphics, colour grading, contemporary music
- selection, sound design, SFX and overall post-production workflows
- Hands-on experience with, or solid openness to adopting, AI-driven video, editing
- and enhancement tools
- Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, narrative flow and visual continuity
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and understand the nuances of brand
- communication
- A fast-learning, curious and technology-forward mindset
- Ability to manage and shift between multiple projects and work efficiently within
- timelines
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and collaborative approach
Good to Have
- Videography or shooting experience
- Script writing and story development
- Storyboarding and pre-visualisation
- Experience creating template-based videos and scalable content formats
Location: Sarjapur Road, Bangalore
Role: Full-time, work from studio
