Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Delhi NCR, India, focused on pharmaceutical injectables in both sterile and non-sterile formats.

The Production

Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations for injectable products, ensuring adherence to cGMP, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, managing shift operations, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with quality assurance, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams. The role involves supervising and mentoring production staff, monitoring process performance, implementing process improvements, and ensuring timely completion of batches and documentation.

The Production

Manager will also lead investigations for deviations, support audits and regulatory inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with company and WHO-approved facility requirements.

Qualifications





- 7+ years of hands-on experience specifically in pharmaceutical injectables production (sterile and/or non-sterile), with strong knowledge of aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing practices.
- Proficiency in production planning, batch scheduling, capacity utilization, and coordination with cross-functional teams in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, WHO, and national regulatory guidelines for injectables, including documentation practices, SOP implementation, and audit readiness.
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, workforce supervision, training, and performance management within manufacturing operations.
- Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, deviation handling, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ability to manage production equipment and utility requirements in collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for transparent reporting, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; additional certifications in quality or production management are an advantage.
- Experience in Delhi NCR or similar large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing hubs is preferable, with readiness to work full-time on-site.
